The Durham Craft Market is welcoming new artists to join our creative community!

For over 20 years, DCM has been showcasing high-quality, handmade goods by local makers. We’re a long-standing, artist-run collective, and we’re looking for dedicated artists who are deeply invested in their craft and excited to be part of a collaborative group of talented makers.

With affordable annual dues, a supportive network of artists, and the opportunity to pop up any Saturday at a consistent location with high traffic and enthusiastic shoppers, the Durham Craft Market is a great place to build your creative business.

Before applying, here's a few things to know:

• You must live and produce your work within fifty miles of Durham.
• The DCM is entirely self governed by our talented members, and we're seeking artists who are also able to contribute to the community to help the market thrive.
• We do not accept food vendors (including condiments and pet treats) or live plant sellers.
• A North Carolina Sales and Use Tax number is required.
• Please review the Durham Craft Market Rules before applying.
• There is a $25 nonrefundable application fee.

The application process:

​All applications are reviewed by our Selection Committee, whose decisions are final. Applications are evaluated based on quality, craftsmanship, creativity, originality, and how the work fits within our existing market offerings. Membership availability in certain product categories may be limited. Incomplete applications cannot be considered. We reply to all applicants with a decision in March.
