Chellie LaPointe is a fiber artist and potter. She creates handspun yarn for one-of-a-kind fiber projects and hand-painted pottery inspired by the wildlife around her home in rural North Carolina. She is a life-long birder and enjoys capturing the spirit and character of wild birds in my whimsical illustrations. Her pots are hand thrown and then decorated in a process that involves carving, painting, staining and glazing, which is all done in her home studio. Each pot is thoughtfully designed and individually handmade.
