I'm a librarian-turned-artist who's inspired by all things local - architecture, nature, food, history - and I turn that inspiration into whimsical and meaningful designs that make the perfect gifts to celebrate life milestones like graduations, weddings, and housewarmings. I'm primarily a watercolor and pen and ink artist, though I've started adding digital artwork to my product lineup. I've been working from my home-based studio in Durham, NC since 2018, and I took Papermill Creative full time in 2021. I love to bake, read, and travel, and I take my binoculars with me everywhere because you never know when you're going to encounter a cool bird.
