Visitor FAQs

Are you a part of the Durham Farmers' Market?

We are not! The Durham Craft Market is a separate market from the Durham Farmers' Market, but we love that setting up together in Durham Central Park makes it easy to shop for locally made art and locally grown food every Saturday morning.

Where can I park?

There is free or low-cost parking available in lots at 400 Foster Street, on Corporation Street at the Historic Durham Athletic Park, and at 423 Morris Street in the Measurement Inc. parking lot.

Can I bring my dog?

While the Durham Craft Market is open to well-behaved, leashed dogs, the nearby Durham Farmers' Market is not. Be sure to plan ahead so you know who will stay with your pup while you shop for your vegetables. Please do not leave dogs unattended in the Durham Craft Market.

What artists will be at this Saturday's market?

Every Saturday morning market features a rotating lineup of up to 24 of our member artists, so you're always sure to find something new each time you visit! While we don't publicize every Saturday's lineup, you can follow the DCM on Instagram or sign up for our newsletter to get to know our artists better.

I'm an artist. Can I apply to be a vendor at the DCM?

DCM membership applications open in January, and our holiday show applications for guest artists open in the summer. Be sure to join our newsletter so you're notified when applications are open, and we invite you to apply then! You can also learn more about our membership criteria here.
