Durham Craft Market is looking for artists to join our creative community. DCM is not a pop-up market, rather we have been presenting high-quality, handmade goods for over twenty years and are seeking mature artists focused on their specific craft to be part of a collaborative of talented artists and makers.
Durham Craft Market is an entirely self-governed organization and we manage all our events; as such, we are looking for members who are willing to participate in not just the weekly markets, but also in working to support our community through involvement in committee and management positions.
Here are some things to consider before applying:
All membership applications are reviewed by our Selection Committee, whose decision is final. The committee reviews applications on the basis of quality, workmanship, creativity, uniqueness, and market availability for the specific craft type. Membership within any given category may be limited. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
There is a $25 non-refundable application fee.

- You must reside and make your art within 50 miles of Durham;
- We do not accept sellers of food goods or live plants;
- Prior to applying, familiarize yourself with the Durham Craft Market Rules. If accepted for membership, you will be bound by the Rules.
- You are required to have a North Carolina Sales and Use Tax number.
